The Salisbury Hospice provides Specialist Palliative Care Services in the Salisbury, Wiltshire Area - including Amesbury, Tidworth, Mere, Tisbury, Fordingbridge, Wilton and Whiteparish. People who benefit from the Hospice are those faced with a life threatening illness for which there is no medical cure. The majority of patients have cancer.
'Putting life into days, not days into life'
The Hospice Unit is situated on the southern boundary of Salisbury District Hospital in a modern, purpose built facility. The Hospice provides care and support each day for 10 in-patients & over 180 patients in their home or hospital, as well as support for their families and friends.
The Salisbury Hospicecare Trust is committed to raising over £850,000 annually to maintain
and develop the Hospice's services.
