Peter Gillam Support Centre providing day care for patients and support for carers

The centre is open Monday to Friday and provides an opportunity for patients under our care to visit the hospice. It gives patients a chance to meet people in a similar situation and also gives their carers a break from their responsibilities.

The service and quality of care is provided by professional staff and trained volunteers. An innovative arts project based at the centre has received international recognition as an important development in improving the quality of life for patients.

Facilities currently available include art, music and dance therapies, aromatherapy, reflexology and drama.
